This page explains how we use personal data when you join the Hormuz: Red Soil invite list. It is our information notice under Article 10 of Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
The data controller is Hormuz: Red Soil, an independent game project. Contact us at hello@redsoil.fun.
What we collect
We collect the email address you type, the time you sign up and the version of the consent notice you saw. To limit abusive signups we compute a salted hash of your IP address and use it only for rate limiting; it is not stored with your email.
Why we use it
We use your email address to send one first-match invite and occasional development updates. We use the signup time and consent version to record your consent, and the IP hash to limit abusive signups. Our legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
Where it is stored and who processes it
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site and stores the invite list in its EU region on our behalf. Your data leaves Turkey for the EU. A mailing service will be used to send the invite; we will update this page when that service is chosen.
How long we keep it
We keep invite-list data until 12 months after the game launches, or delete it earlier if you ask us to. You can withdraw your consent and request deletion at hello@redsoil.fun.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw your consent. Where applicable, you can also ask us to restrict processing or provide your data in a portable format, and object to processing. Email hello@redsoil.fun; we will answer within 30 days.
You can make a complaint to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK Board) or your EU supervisory authority.
Cookies and server logs
We use no cookies, trackers or analytics scripts. Cloudflare keeps server logs for security purposes.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16. Please do not sign up if you are under 16. If a child’s information has been submitted, contact us so we can delete it.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and show the new date above. If a change affects how we use your consent, we will ask for it again where required.
